I am Scott Heaney. In my 50s, obsessed about martial arts in my youth, and after a long break rediscovered myself and martial arts later in life. I am Shodan/Black Belt in Kyokushin from Canada. The dojo is Contact Kicks Martial Arts and my teacher is Shihan Steve Fogarasi, 5th Dan. I have now started a new journey in Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Gregg King of King Jujitsu. Martial arts is a vehicle on the path of mindfulness and self-discovery.
